ok , this is the situation:

i have a pc in my room , which is connected via an ethernet cable to a computer reuter in another room.

the internet provider service also has a tv service , in fact if you connect the coaxial cable core (tc antenna) to one of the pins of the ethernet plug you get reception.

is there a way to transfer that connection from the network socket input of the pc to a usb port... so that you get a signal output from the usb?

i dont know if you got what i mean

There is a way to do that with a SLINGBOX, you can actually watch your tv on your pc or laptop in your room or anywhere in the world I believe.
There's another unit called AngelTrax CATV2400
