I have to create a matching network using both a quarter wave transformer and a single stub. I think that part is pretty cut and dry. The issue that I am having trouble with is how I should go about combining the two lines coming from the main feed as shown in the image. Of course it is all 75 ohms so I would think there is a perfect match already but I guess there isn't because that would defeat the whole purpose of this assignment.

I am thinking the correct way of approaching this would to just combine them both into equivalent load of 150 ohms... or 37.5 ohms.. I'm not quite sure when it comes to transmission lines.

Any suggestions?
