I'm a lecturer at a Technical Institute in Botswana and need information on Power Transformers that I can share with my students. This should include constructional features, principle of operation, characteristics, calculations for transformers under load, winding resistance and reactance, hysteresis and eddy current losses, autotransformers (construction & operation).

As a lecturer I would have thought this sort of stuff was readily to hand. Anyway, you should check the J&P Transformer book by Martin Heathcote (spelling?). This long standing series is often cited as a major source of knowledge on all things tranformers.
