A 100kva transformer has iron losses of 650 W and copper losses of 960 W when operating on full-load. Calculate the transformer efficiency when suppling
1 50% full-load at 0.8 power factor
2 25% full-load at 0.5 power factor

efficency can be calculated using the foll formula

η = x.KVA.cos Φ /(x.KVA.cos Φ +x^2. Cu losses+Fe losses)

x=current/full load current..
=0.5 in the 1st case
=0.25 in the 2nd case
cos Φ =power factor
