Hi
I Have 160 amp/h car battery I ,want to make charger to it using
i want to make the charger my self instead of buying it' can you give me
where i can find rules and laws for transformer calculation
core size primary and secondary turns wire size in secondary and primary

ps:I want to charge from 220V AC

Where do you live? I've used old street light ballasts as cores. Usually they are 230 volt. Welded together cores which aren't too hard to cut apart. Save the 230 volt windings and wind 12-16 volt secondary. If you get your hands on one of these cores we can help you determine turns and wire sizes later.
