Hey all, I am having a little trouble with transfer functions.

I know that H(jω) = Vout/Vin

and I know, usually, how to derive that relationship but I am having problems with arranging the transfer function into standard form for bode plotting.

I do not understand what this standard form is, and would much appreciate it if some one could explain it to me.

standard form is to get bunch of products rather than sum.

T(s)=(s+z1)(s+z2)(s+z3)... / (s+p1)(s+p2)(s+p3)...

where z1,z2,z3... are zeroes and p1,p2,p3 are poles
