I wish to build a circuit which calls for BAS16 and BAT54S diodes; these appear to only be available now as surface mount devices. What would be satisfactory through hole equivalents? TIA.

Best as I can tell:

2 x BAT85 through hole should be equivalent to the BAT54S dual surface mount.

A 1N4148 through hole should suffice for the BAS16 surface mount.

Do you see any issues with these substitutions? TIA

They look reasonably close, but hard to tell for certain without seeing the circuit.

 

The circuit is for a 1-Wire DS2450 ADC. I found another reference source (attached) where 1N914 is used in lieu of BAS16 and 2x1N5617 is used in lieu of BAT54S.
