Those are decoupling capacitors:

Hi,
U1 Pin8 is Vcc, so the capacitor C1 100uf seems a filter capacitor due to your V1 is 12v dc supply, and C2 100nf is a bypass.

 

May I know what the 'input' shown here is? Ac or dc? And how much?
