So others can benefit, (hopefully I'm doing this right!)

Combine the 6kΩ and 2kΩ as a parallel combination, combine the resulting resistor with the 3kΩ in series and a final parallel combination with the remaining 4kΩ resistor.

\(R_{th} = \left( (6k\Omega // 2k\Omega) + 3k\Omega \right) //4k\Omega\)

 

Yep, I got the same. 2.12 K Ohms.
