The voltage of a clock pulse ???

I need to construct my own clock pulse with only batteries and a push button switch but am unsure of the voltage. The IC I need to pulse is the 74LS76 j-k-flip-flops, the frequency is not important.

The input voltage levels of TTL and LS-TTL gates is a low of 0.8V or less (0.4V is good) and a high of 2.0V or more (2.4V from a TTL output or 2.7V from an LS-TTL output are good.
