what is the cheapest intel 64bit processor for Windows ?

Yes it is 64-bit, and pretty cheap for a processor of that spec. I couldn't comment on which was the cheapest.

Not for a long time, if ever. The development cycles for the next generations of the main OSes will all support 32-bit, and some OSes are still not complete 64-bit OSes and require significant development to make them fully 64-bit.

What is speed of this processor ?
The T7500 clocks at 2.2GHz.

I think that they will eventually disappear, but in a progressive manner. That eventually happens with all proprietary technology...that is, disappearing without a trace, even if progressively.

I got a hunch the 32 bit processors will be around just as long as they are producing the Pentium series. For most applications, 32 bits is a little overkill anyway, so they'll still be strong sellers for many years. Memory and mass storage are still the two main limiting factors in system speed.
