I have a question that so far no one can unswer!! what is the difference between testing in "Light mode" and "current mode" ???
Please help

I am testing LASER; from the PS is connected to the LASER, and another cable is connected to a "remote" that has a switch for current or light mode; I am testing but I don't know how this work!!!

 

I would suspect that light mode controls the intensity of the emission and that current mode simply regulates the current through the laser diode.

 

yes there can b a voltage if there is no current
