Yes it is working great as a massively overpowered motor for a sherline lathe (like putting smallblock chev into a go kart), has performed perfectly for me and was a great zero dollar solution using salvaged parts to a problem I had with an underpowered original motor. It is slightly annoying having to ramp up the speed each time I start up, but call this a safety feature rather than a bug!
the LH switch is on/off toggle the RH one is slower/faster momentary contact
small PCB at bottom creates suitable voltage for driving optocoupler LEDs via the two switches
