Hello. I've downloaded the service manual but was hoping to get some tips from experienced folks before starting testing. The amp has one problem: one of the channels only comes on once the volume is turned up to 30-50%. It can then be turned down and will stay on almost all the time. It's as if that channel has needs to be jump-started!

Does anyone have an idea what specifically to look for? Thanks much.

 

Loose or defective load (speaker) relay.

Above post is the first problem you should look into.
Another problem could be defective volume control.

Which channel?

Have you opened it up for visual inspection?

Is there a mechanical click inside when the channel turns on?
