I have a Honda VTX1300T and it only has the stock tailight. I would like to enhance that with one of these: http://www.pilotlights.net/led-bar-...2-volt-dc-led-lamp-6-length-white-or-red-leds

They also come in red (link shows a white one). The 6 inch strip uses 80 mA. I am not too swift when it comes to this stuff. I was wondering if I could tap into my License Plate Light as a power source? I prefer to do things the right way and if this is completely acceptable it would be great, if not....I would welcome any advice.

Thanks,
Chip
