Hi all

I'm working on an old car with pop up headlights and I would like to make the headlights flash 3 times when the lights are lifted then stop.

I have the basics of the switching and relay system in the car already but the old flasher unit is no longer obtainable.

So I thought maybe I could use a modern solid state circuit to replace the unobtainable part.

So bacially when energised the circuit should wait 1 second then flash the headlights 3 times in 3 seconds then stop flashing untill the circuit is reset by repowering.

Any ideas if or how this could be done please?

I can measure the headlamp relay resistance if required.
