Help!
I Need a diagram off a switched mode dc power supply and a description off how it works. On top off that i need the advantages and disadvantages compared with a conventional dc power supply...

Since this is a homework assignment, maybe you could start by providing us with your own thoughts on the disadvantages versus the advantages of a switch-mode power supply?

Our members would then be more inclined to assist you if you did.

i think you can used SG3525 ic. it is good to used. im ready used this ic. to step up the voltage from 12vdc to 250vac. you can useda the project form http://sound.westhost.com/project89.htm. try your best.
