Really simple because I know all about electronics,

I have two circuits and now I am needing an intermediate circuit to digitally switch from one cicuit to the other,

for example, circuit 1 becomes open due to natural causes, this causes the logic to change which causes circuit 2 to become closed. When circuit 1 is repaired the logic changes again and causes circuit 1 to become closed and circuit two to become open. Alternating circuits

So I need help with the switching circuit

We need some information. What kind of load are you switching? Signal path or emergency AC power? It makes quite a difference.
