The other day I was working on a 555 circuit and noticed the led would slightly light up when I would move parts or touch something even with power removed but still on..
Have you guys had any problems or issues? ???

Caps may hold enough charge to flash a LED. Anything else is a guess without schematic and build pictures.

 

any radio or tv stations nearby? circuit might be rectifying rf enough to light the led.

 

It's pretty dry this time of year, so it's all too easy to generate static electricity with a little movement. Try boiling a pot of water on the stove for a half - hour or so and see if that helps.
