They're just following the leads of the big boys, who never seem to care about vetting a story, either.What's a bit stunning is that all of those news agencies reported the same nonsense without even the slightest attempt to find new or factual information, and without noting that there is zero precedent for such a thing. That's simple plagiarism.

Isn't that gamma radiation? Radon is primarily an alpha emitter and the primary danger is from inhalation of the gas. If they are getting enough gamma from it and its daughters to cause this, I would imagine they would have already long been dead.It looks like radiation used for cancer treatment can cause encephalopathy. If that is really what happened to those people, they are not long for this world.
