stepper motor driver

hello,
i am making a micromouse and is using a typical 9v bipolar stepper motor.
Can anyone tell me which motor driver is best for my stepper motor.
I am confused between L298 and ULN2003......
pls help..................

Hi.
Your stepper motor is Bipolar so you must change phase(polarity) of your wires continuous and ULN2003 is just an open collector with 7 channel when get High pulse in his input pins produce Negative(gnd) polarity so you cant use this to drive bipolar stepper ranged with high ampere,but l298 is two H-bridge ic that can control two dc motor in two position it means that you can change it's output polarity(+ or -) so it's the best choice for you also it gives 4 amp output current whereas ULN2003 gives 0.5 amp.
but if you use Unipolar stepper motor u can also use ULN2003 ,while it is cheaper than L298, isn't it?
