can someone pls. help me with my thesis?? i already have a 6A 24v stepsyn two phase stepper motor, i already coupled it to my mechanical section, i already have the fullwwave sequencer. but i can't finish my project because my simple transistor drivers did not work. can anyone pls. share a design for my driver?? or where i can buy one? maybe through internet cuz im from philippines. thanks a lot guys.

 

Why don't you post the schematic of what you built? Maybe it can be fixed.

 

i used only a darlington power transistor as a switch. can i use transistor switching as a driver in stepper motors? thanks a lot

 

You can look at the datasheets for the L297 and L298 drivers for ideas, but the L298 is not adequate for your stepper motor. You need far more current than the L298 can provide.
