You will need a switch or sensor at the stop position.

What type of switch do you prefer?

 

Another approach would be to use a stepper motor.

 

It looks like a right angle G.B. and DC motor, it depends on how accurate you need the positioning, some G.B. run-on due to inertia, if this is a problem, you could open circuit the motor leads and shunt them in order to use the brake effect at turn off.
