I have an input square wave i created using a 555 IC. This wave has a frequency of about 1/3, and its high for roughly 1.5 seconds and low for 1.5 seconds. What i need to do is take this signal and input it to a RC low pass filter and then into a Schmitt Trigger(4093 IC) in order to get an square wave with a time delay of roughly .01 seconds. I've been googling the Schmitt triggers and I'm confused onto exactly how i should set this up. If anyone could help me with a schematic and how i can achieve this that would be great. Thank you!

 

You can use a series R shunt C to lag the signal, then put it into another 555 using the comparison (1/3 and 2/3 trigger) inputs.
