Is there a voltage converter that can change AC to 24-volt DC at around a dozen Amps?


I have looked around the internet and the most I've seen were 1.5.


I guess that that high of an Amp would not be practical in commercial applications, so that's why I'm not finding them. Would I have to make my own?

Oh. It's going to be a standard wall plug output -- 120V, 60hz.

By "with around a dozen amperes", I meant its maximum output amp rating in DC. The one I have now has 1.5 maximum output amp in DC, but the limit is getting close, so I'm looking for a "bigger" one.

You appear to be looking or a transformerless solution, which we will not support.

It's called google, and it finds things for you, by the description you input

 

24V is a very common find in industrial applications. hard to believe that you were not able to find one. here is a list of 24V supplies ranging from 12A to 87A. The cheapest one is a 20A supply for 69$.
