I am thinking to make a sound follower in this yr's project. It is like it follows sound in which direction sound is produced. So i use sound sensor in four direction. and it follow that direction of sensor which receive more sound comparing to rest of three. But i am confuse to control motor and compare to output of sound sensor. if u have any ideas & circuit share me.

 

Might try using two sound heads feeding a 0 to 360 deg. phase detector. Rotate heads slowley, back and forth 'till phase drops to near 90 deg, then steer to reduce phase to 0 & keep going. With 4 sound heads with amplitude detection, use comparators and logic gates to determine highest amplitude head & steer towards it in a zig-zag path.

but there is a problem to make phase detector. I am confused about that.And if two same sound in two opposite direction occure then what happen in comparator.
