Hi! I'm looking for a PLL that locks at frequency --> 25kHz. I also tried to design the circuit on my own but I couldn't find a phase detector and a VCO at this frequency (all VCOs that I found are in MHz).I also heard that a way to reduce VCO's oscillation frequency is to use capacitors...Is that true?

Take a look at the LM565, it's many years since I've played with one but I seem to recall that they have a frequency range from audio to about 1MHz and I think you can still get them.
