Hi, I am a newer in reactor design

I am so confused now. I have a lot of questions.

I do not know at which current range I should select Cu wire for reactor coil instead of Al wire. I searched from google, but no proper information.

I do not know how many gaps I can use for the core. I just find the more gaps I add, the more cheaper the core is.

Anybody can tell me these basic things? And if you can tell me any tutorial for reactor design, that would be awesome. Thanks

 

I will confess to confusion, too. Reactor? Obviously not nuclear. Saturable? probably not.

Perhaps you could share things like what kind of reactor you have and what sorts of power/frequencies it's supposed to handle.
