hi, i need to design a selnoid driver circuit. the voltage is 24vdc. and the selnoid is 24vdc. i need where the selnoid gets 24vdc and then falls off to 8vdc.

Are you saying you want to energize it with 24vdc and reduce it to 8vdc to hold the solenoid in?

 

What current does the solenoid draw at 24V ?
