Heres some info
Plato's Solder pots exceed the requirements of military specifications ANSI (J-STD-001B). The pots control temperatures to ±5°F (±2.75°C) of a pre-selected setting from ambient to 925°F (496°C) and have an LCD temperature display. Standard features include:
• New solid-state controller that limits transient voltage spiking to a 2mV peak-to-peak, or less, for voltage sensitive components
• Temperature preset switch to select the desired temperatures
• LCD that displays preset temperature and operating temperature
• Internal circuitry to compensate for incoming power fluctuations, power line circuit breaker
• All metal construction for ESD protection
• Output jack for external temperature recorder or data logger
• Larger capacity crucible, 4" (102mm) x 6" (152mm) x 4" (102mm) deep
• Safety warm-up crucible cover
