Hello,
Can anyone suggest me what is the best or good software to simulate circuits in electronics.
I knew Proteus and ORCAD but I think they aren't the best to simulate circuit.
I have just heard about LTSpice or PSICE but I have never used that.Could anyone who are experrienced and learned person give me some advice?
Can I use LTSpice or PSICE without Proteus?
I need a good software that I can see all signal shape in detail because I don't have many opportunites to check it in reality.
Thanks!

LTspice works for me. It only has Linear Technology parts in it, plus a handful of generic parts. So if you need to simulate a circuit containing multiple parts from multiple manufacturers, it may not be great. I know there is a way to import other parts into the program but I've never had any luck finding the files for the parts I need, and creating the parts seemed to be something that you would need to be a guru to do.

Don't listen to just me though. There are probably others out there who do not have the same problems that I have. Probably because they are smarter than me.

AS for LTspice
Here you can find all the additional models
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/LTspice/

http://valvolodin.narod.ru/soft/extra.rar
http://forest22.homeip.net/Electronics/index.html

Unpack the archive "extra.rar", using the archive RAR
Copy "extra1.rar" which is installed in the directories are LTspiceIV. Typically, this directory is "C: \ Program Files \ LTC"
Unzip "extra1.rar" which is installed in the directories are LTspiceIV
Finish

And also ORCAD is the same as PSpice.

Thank you very much!
That software is great!
I have never seen the best software like Yenka.
This software will be very useful for me because I don't have oppturnity to do it.
