hi i have a bouard wit a short it in it has noting but smt components now there is mosfet chip 4 legs either side if i meassure in diode mode 3 out of 4 legs read zero my question is should all these legs working or what do these work thanks
Can you read the part number? It is quite common on SMD mosfets to have several pins used for the source and drain with only one pin for the gate. For example, pins 1,2,and 3 may be the source; pin 4 the gate; and pins 5,6,7,and 8 the drain. The multiple pins give more copper to handle more current in such small packages.
