SMD IC Identification (please help)

    This is an 8 pin IC SMD device. Please see attachment. I don't have a camera capable of taking a close up of it. It seems to be acting like an Op Amp, but the pin configuration doesn't match any we can find. The number on it is 201 and there are no other markings. There is another number on it, but this changes from unit to unit. Date code, probably. It is being used in a 48Volt rectifier. Please, does any one have any ideas or insight

    would be helpfull to know what this device is used in, possibly some pictures or description of the circuit would be nice..... could be an op amp, but then again, could be an optocoupler......

    Thanks for your reply. The device is used in a rectifier. My camera won't take pictures that small, though I did include a drawing in the attachment on my original posting... tom
