Hi all,

Need to add , a choke between an igbt module and brushless motor, in order to protect the component.

On my burnt card, value is really 681 µH , +- 20 % I guess.

I'd like to know if following items are good for the job:

I'm in doubt, i think it's a comon mode choke ....

Now , about SMD:

After a lot of "googling" , I didn't find any information about using and placing it, on a pcb.

Has anyone any idea or some link to an " how-to" ?

Thanks a lot.

If it is a choke, its value will be measured in Henries. You could therefore have a 680μH choke, but not 680μF: Farads measure capacitance.
