I hope anybody can help me in completing this project...

Smart Home - Wireless universal remote control A low power and wireless remote control system to be developed . A PDA type device that can control electronic appliances including lights, curtain and locks.

If someone has ideas, circuits, programming and so on, please reply as soon as possible... I'm really appreciate for your help...

Thanks...

If you are only doing a few devices I would buy a Zigbee radio (like the MaxStream XBee).
Zigbee is low power low bandwidth protocol in ISM band. To communicate with an XBee
you open terminal connection and send ASCII string with commands or data.

I have developed some boards at www.wiblocks.com.

Checkout O'Reilly's "Making Things Talks" for some other options.
