Yeah, I've never found an application faster than good 'ole paint for doing simple diagrams (schematics included). If anyone can suggest something better, I'd gladly try it.

I was away the day they discussed such things, doc. Took a wrong toin at Albuquerque ‘n ended up stakin’ hay in Kansas! Chomp, chomp, chomp…

 

Any reason why this would not work? the 2N3055 could be an MJ2955 or something similar. Just trying to keep it simple.
