Sketch distribution of E from V

HI guys :) ,

I have been having problem with the attached question, I just know this equation

But I have no idea how I can sketch that?? :confused:

Is there any way to solve It.

In 1 dimension you just take the derivative of the potential and change the sign.
In 2 or more dimensions you need to add up the partial derivatives of the potential for each coordinate and then change the sign.
 
the equation you know means that E equals the change of V in two different points in time..e.g. from zero to 1, 1-2, 2-3, etc.. from there you can sketch distribution of E..
