Pl help me to calculate this.

A Single Phase AC voltage of 220 V is applied to impedance of 10 phase angle 30, find R, X, P, Q and power factor.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Power factor equals the cosine of the angle difference between the source voltage and current. In your case the angle difference is 30 degrees (current lags the voltage by 30 degrees) so the power factor (pf):

pf=cos(30)=0.87

Another way is to divide the real power delivered to the circuit by the apparent power:

pf=(real power)/(apparent power)
