can all boolean sum-of-product expression can be simplified? if so state why, if not, give a couple of answer... please help me with this question...

$$F = x_{1}x_{2} + x_{3}x_{4}$$

This is a sum of product expression for a given function, can this be simplified any further?

Perhaps this is semantics... but it does, in fact, make a difference for this problem: Your equation (F) assumes MINIMAL SOP which is a subset of SOP.

Anyway, the fact is, it depends on the equation!
