Assuming that a motor is wired up to L1,L2,L3 (in that order) and it is moving forward. I understand that swapping two legs will cause the motor to go in reverse. For example: (L1,L3,L2), (L2,L1,L3), (L3,L2,L1). But what effect would this configuration likely produce? (L3,L2,L1), (L3,L1,L2), (L2,L3,L1).

Just count the number of 2 wire reversals. Odd number, it runs backwards. Even number, it's turning the same way.

Eh? Odd number? Even number?
Are you saying that if i have "one" two wire reversal it operates in reverse, and "two" two wire reversals will cause the motor to operate forward again?

And you adding clarification to your question after I answered really makes me look sarcastic, but your premise in post #3 is correct. Every time you swap 2 wires, the motor reverses. Two reverses is back where it was in the first place.
