I was looking at solar trackers, and I saw on a site a way of using 2 separate panels, each powering a DC motor. The panels have a barrier inbetween, such as when they are out of alignment one panel will be in shadow.
The panels are wired so one drives the motor one way, the other panel in a reverse direction, whichever panel is recieving more light will drive the motor, until both panels face the sun and equalibrium is reached.
There isn't much info regarding the actual wiring, but if I were to try and incorparate it into a battery charging system, would the the attached work?
The solar panel I have in mind is one of these cheap 2 sided 'briefcase' type panels you see on ebay. I would just open it up to gain access to the internal wiring.
Thanks!
