simple rc servo control

Hi , can anyone give me details for a easy circuit that when power is on via a timer will move a servo say 45 degs then back when powers off , lots of details as i don`t know much about this , wanting to learn , Thanks

We have several links showing how to use a 555 timer in PWM mode to control a servo. I've been thinking of a different project, but the basics may apply. I suspect the 555 will have to stay on though.
