Hi, i want to build a circuit for a ps3 controller button. IE, two wires touching activate the shooting.

what i want to do is control how long it stay conected ie 5 seconds on and then 1 sec off then back to 5 seconds on again (repeating). Also i would like to be able to change how long it is on for (no more than 10 seconds). 1 sec off every time is fine. also on off so i can turn the circuit board off.

pls help

 

How do you plan to power this circuit?

You need to determine how a normal PS3 button works. It probably connects one terminal to either the controller's ground or it's V+. The other terminal is then pulled close to the power supply, either high or low. The circuit you choose depends on whether it needs to go high or low.

 

(r1 button and square button)
both the buttons work on the common Right?
