I have a remote control for a toy, one of the joysticks is ridiculously sensitive.
Down to the details, Joystick has 3 soldering contacts under PCB i will piggy back off.
I have a pot, and a few resistors.
Have soldered 3 wires to the 2 contacts on the pot, control wouldnt power on, diagnosed to be a short protection between the 2 active joystick terminals.
Undo the short and it powers on again, so, if i put resistors on both the wires THEN connect them together and attach them to 1 leg of the pot, and connect the middle to the middle joystick. ive attached a pic.
