Hello Guys,

I am new to this forum.
Please help me to solve my problem.
I am simulating a simple DC DC converter for electrical machine which is composed of a DC 50V supply in series connection with a switch (here IGBT) and at the output a resistance as load, that i want to vary for different scenarios.I have a DC square wave at o/p.I want to filter this to pure DC,and when I use a shunt Capacitor at the end in parallel with my load, the voltage is filtered with some ripple but when I change the duty cycle at switch, the o/p doesn't vary accordingly.(But it should vary when the duty cycle is changed)..
Whats the problem? Can anyone suggest some solution?

I see no mention of an inductor, which would cause what you are seeing.

Post your complete schematic, and what frequency and duty cycle range you want to operate with.
