Hi, I have a manual controlled video switcher, but I would like to modify this so that it can have an automatic switching mode. (this is as a more economical solution to those that already exist for this purpose)

How can I do this? It would seem I would just need a switching circuit that automatically alternates. This seems pretty simple, so how I can get this done?

I would appreciate any guidance into this.

Do you want it to be free-running, or triggered by some external stimulus?
You need to provide more information.

For starters, I would just want it to be free-running.. say for instance, it alternatives in 2 second blocks.

But an advancement to this would be if I could build a attach a nob whereby I could select the time-interval.

But one way or another, I would just like it free-running once turned on.
