I'm doing a project and am in need of some circuitry that will stay at logic 1 after a pulse has come in that goes from logic 0 to 1 then back to 0.

I also need something that will return to logic 1 after a signal has come in going from logic 1 to logic 0 and staying at logic 0.
Any ideas?

 

A monostable (also called a one shot)will remain in the 1 position for a set period then return to 0. (othe other way round)

A Latch will remain in the 1 position indefinitely. (or the other way round)

Still unsure how to get the second one to return to logic 1 after briefly going to logic 0.

 

Put an inverter after a one-shot.
