I am trying to work out this problem with very minimal information given to me:
a 3 metre (2024-T) solid circular drive shaft 50mm in diameter with a modulus rigity , G of 28 GPa is subjected to a torque of 350Nm.
I need to calculate the maximum stress in the shaft and and the angle twist in radians over the length of the shaft.
Being that my knowledge is towards electronic bias I am struggling to look for info on this. Is there any Mech guys that can suggest websites, you tube vids?
