I am preparing a micromouse. Building is over. I wanted to know how to eliminate noise from the surroundings.I have used IR led and phototransistors. I want to know the filter circuits which will eliminate the noise.

 

Since you indicate that the design is already complete and fixed for the most part, then the primary method would be to decrease the sensitivity of your receiver and then correspondingly increase the intensity of your IR source.

Can you post a schematic so that we can see the actual components and the circuits being used?

You could also characterize "the noise" that you wish to eliminate.

 

I think you are not using any modulating freqency. try to use some freqency to modulate the signal better 38 KHz. the receivers are readily available like TSOP1738. the noise become reduced.
