1)In a lab experiment we did, it was discovered that voltage at the outer probes exceeds that of the inner probes by a 1000 times using the 4-pin probe test.

I know that it isnt due to the distance.

Can anybody explain?

2) The mobility of n type semiconductor exceeds that of p type. I got the results but I am not sure why. Why?

Hi,

i just did that lab today :D

i remember my partner explained to me, it is something to due to the edges is not complete as inner so there is less current spread than inner...

Hi,

i just did that lab today :D

i remember my partner explained to me, it is something to due to the edges is not complete as inner so there is less current spread than inner...
We are probably in the same lab then. Is there a formula for it?

Also does anyone know about why the n-type has high mobility?
